De ces combinaisons de couleurs primaires et \u00e9clatantes surgit une v\u00e9rit\u00e9 indicible et fondamentale.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Cette m\u00eame authenticit\u00e9 mutique se retrouve dans ses sculptures, que l\u2019on peut regrouper en deux vastes ensembles de pi\u00e8ces. L\u2019un de ces ensembles est constitu\u00e9 de cubes en terre de diff\u00e9rentes tailles perc\u00e9es de trous savamment r\u00e9parties selon une logique propre, brute ou avec des couleurs qui rappellent celles de ses peintures. Ces cubes philosophiques semblent poser une question \u00e9nigmatique. L\u2019autre ensemble est compos\u00e9 d\u2019une horde de personnages sortis tout droit d\u2019un temps tr\u00e8s lointain o\u00f9 la vie se d\u00e9chiffrait dans les signes cach\u00e9s de la nature. L&#8217;artiste y mod\u00e8le Ia terre, cr\u00e9ant ses fameuses et nombreuses \u00ab Idoles \u00bb, tout en se consacrant au dessin et \u00e0 la peinture. Une abstraction ou la couleur tient une place majeure, d\u00e9termin\u00e9e et qui exprime toute la force d&#8217;une pens\u00e9e mouvante. On admire son sens d\u00e9licat de la composition, son utilisation expansive mais soign\u00e9e de la couleur, qui \u00e9quilibre souvent avec \u00e9l\u00e9gance les tons les plus contrast\u00e9s, ou sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 varier des \u00ab motifs \u00bb apparemment identiques d\u2019une mani\u00e8re aussi polyvalente que subtile. Mais avec cette vision de ses peintures, on n&#8217;arriverait en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu&#8217;au point o\u00f9 commence r\u00e9ellement le monde de Yassef. Car pour lui, les aides techniques, aussi co\u00fbteuses soient-elles et aussi expertes soient-elles utilis\u00e9es, ne servent finalement qu&#8217;\u00e0 un seul but : lui permettre de faire face \u00e0 ces probl\u00e8mes maritimes. sph\u00e8res spirituelles douces qui forment l\u2019origine de toute existence. Au vu du caract\u00e8re dramatique de ces peintures, on ne peut s&#8217;emp\u00eacher de penser aux cr\u00e9ations de Richard Wagner, capable de cr\u00e9er des ambiances surnaturelles au sein d&#8217;un g\u00e9ant pas comme les autres. pour donner de la perspective et de la forme \u00e0 l&#8217;orchestre.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: ux-font-1531806071558;\">D&#8217;innombrables galeries \u00e9trang\u00e8res ont rejet\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises l&#8217;\u0153uvre picturale de Yassef en raison de son contenu pr\u00e9tendument abstrait, et sa premi\u00e8re exposition \u00e0 Fribourg repr\u00e9sente sans aucun doute un tournant encourageant dans sa carri\u00e8re. Mais d\u2019une mani\u00e8re ou d\u2019une autre, ce fait doit \u00eatre triste. Mais depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, ses \u0153uvres suscitent l&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat en Suisse et particuli\u00e8rement en Suisse romande. C&#8217;est ainsi qu&#8217;il expose ses sculptures depuis 1984 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises \u00e0 Fribourg, Gen\u00e8ve, Montreux et Sion. A Fribourg, il expose \u00e9galement pour la premi\u00e8re fois ses peintures. La Gaerlie Liechti \u00e0 Granges ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 dessin\u00e9<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">attention aux sculptures de Yassef, c&#8217;est aujourd&#8217;hui au tour de la Galerie Herm\u00e8s de montrer pour la premi\u00e8re fois les sculptures et peintures r\u00e9unies dans une m\u00eame exposition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">SCULPTURES, T\u00c9MOINS D&#8217;UNE EXPRESSION M\u00c9TAPHYSIQUE<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sans devenir th\u00e9matique, le fluide de la Provence se ressent dans les \u0153uvres de Yassef. C&#8217;est \u00e9galement le cas de ses sculptures qui semblent n\u00e9es du terroir m\u00eame de Provence. Yassef les mod\u00e8le dans une argile brute, cr\u00e9ant une surface poreuse. Ses premi\u00e8res sculptures, vues de face, aux formes larges et aux contours dessin\u00e9s allient influences cubistes et souvenirs des cultures primitives : Mythe et Histoire deviennent la repr\u00e9sentation m\u00e9taphysique de ses propres r\u00e9f\u00e9rences existentielles. Ses sculptures r\u00e9centes, en revanche, qui repr\u00e9sentent des personnages ou des formes animales surprenantes, sont enti\u00e8rement model\u00e9es ce qui conduit \u00e0 une repr\u00e9sentation plus r\u00e9aliste. Reste \u00e0 Yassef \u00e0 prouver qu&#8217;il saura transposer la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 gracieuse de ces sculptures dans de grandes dimensions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">UNE EXPLOSION DE COULEURS<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Passant de plus en plus de l&#8217;abstraction vers une certaine figuration dans ses sculptures, Yassef poursuit une approche compl\u00e8tement oppos\u00e9e dans sa peinture.
